Sotheby's wine courses are specially designed to broaden horizons and enhance
the enjoyment of wine by providing a sound basis of knowledge on tasting technique,
grape varieties and all the wine producing areas of the world.
The atmosphere is friendly and informal. The speakers are all
highly qualified and experienced and not in the least bit intimidating. In
addition, all the
wines tasted at each session are of the very best quality. Sotheby's wine courses
complement Sotheby's wine seminars held with top chdteau owners and producers.
The cost of a course of five sessions is Stg 175 per person, or Stg 325 per
person for two consecutive courses booked together. All the sessions take place
on Monday evenings at Sotheby's, Grosvenor Gallery, Bloomfield Place (off New
Bond Street), London Wl. They start at 6.30pm and last for 1.5 hours.
